Admittance to the secure section of Palmetto Cops

Full-Time certified law enforcement officers and certified law enforcement reserve officers are authorized to access the secure section of Palmetto Cops. The access period is only authorized for 12 months. You will be required to resubmit your information every 12 months.

Follow these steps to be authorized to access the Law Enforcement Only section of Palmetto Cops:

1. Have an activated account with Palmetto Cops with a valid email address, your full real name and your current employing agency listed (please no abbreviations)
   You must maintain an active email address during your 12 month access period.
2. Be currently logged in under that account
3. Click the “Verify my Status” link located in the footer section of the web site (or here)
4. Using the Palmetto Cops PayPal account, verify your identity by submitting a $1.00 payment with your account.  The account must be in your name.
    
5. Palmetto Cops staff will receive notification from PayPal.
6. Using the information provided, Palmetto Cops staff will contact your law enforcement agency and verify your status.
7. Once you are verified, Palmetto Cops staff will assign the appropriate permissions to your account which will allow access to the secure section.
8. While a member of the Palmetto Cops secure community, you will be required to comply with the security policy established by Palmetto Cops, Inc.
